Meanings are not determined by situations, but we determine ourselves by the meanings we give to situations. -Alfred Adler. My favorite quote. I am primarily Adlerian, though I have developed an eclectic therapeutic style over the past 13 years. There is no “one size fits all” therapeutic intervention. I believe therapy must take into account the patient’s whole environment, including the people the patient associates with. We all have individual experiences that influence who we are and our struggles in life. We have the power to define life or be defined by life.
My approach with each patient is compassionate care, wholistic individualized therapy utilizing a personalized blend of evidence-based techniques which help clients develop strategies, skills, and insight to achieve wellness and balance in their lives.
