In-person counseling is available at our location through our partnership with Cedar Creek Associates. Telehealth therapy is also available through Psych Dimensions for patients who prefer remote care.

Every new patient starts with a comprehensive evaluation, not a predetermined treatment plan. That evaluation typically runs 60 to 90 minutes and covers your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, family history, and the broader context of your life.
From there, the team builds a plan specific to your situation. That plan may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both. Medication management takes place in person at the San Marcos office. Therapy is available in person through Cedar Creek Associates, who are located in the same building, or through telehealth with Psych Dimensions therapists.
Cedar Creek Associates is a well-established counseling practice with deep roots in the San Marcos community, and they operate out of the same building as Psych Dimensions. Their counselors are experienced, highly regarded professionals who are genuinely connected to the people and communities they serve.

Psych Dimensions San Marcos treats patients ages 16 and up, including adolescents, adults, and older adults across the San Marcos area. The city is home to Texas State University, and we see a range of patients that reflects that, from students and young adults navigating significant life transitions to long-term San Marcos residents and families along the I-35 corridor.
Psych Dimensions accepts BCBS, Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Curative, Baylor Scott and White Health Plan, Sana, and self-pay. Medicare is accepted at this location. The office is open Monday through Thursday until 7pm, and most new patients are seen within a few days of initial contact.
